From a design by Edward Burne-Jones originally woven in 1895, it is one of a series of six panels illustrating the story of the search for the holy grail. This panel represents the arming and departure of the knights of the round table including Sir Galahad, Sir Percival and Sir Bors. The original hangs in the Birmingham museum. Our reproduction is an officially licensed copy incorporating metallic threads.
This tapestry has a rod pocket incorporated in the lining on the back for hanging.
