One of the six tapestries known as The Lady and the Unicorn Tapestries. Woven in Brussels in 1470. The other five scenes illustrate the five senses. The original can be seen in the Cluny Museum in Paris.
This tapestry has wool included in the composition which results in a softer feel and more subtle finish. The effect overall is more of an aged look with colours closer to how the originals now look.
