The Lady & The Unicorn Tapestries
This section of tapestries are taken from the six tapestries known as "The Lady and the Unicorn". Woven in Brussels in 1470 they represent the five senses together with the tapestry known as A Mon Seul Desire. A Mon Seul Desir or Desire was the inspiration for the Lady and Unicorn tapestries and all the originals can be seen in the Cluny Museum in Paris. |
