Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into the Shopping Basket. After each addition to the basket you will be given 3 options as follows:
'Confirm' which will then return you to the catalogue category from where you made your last selection 'Checkout' which will take you to a secure area where it is safe for you to provide your payment details 'Cancel' which will delete your addition and return you to the catalogue category from where you made your last addition.
At any time you may click on "View Cart" to view the contents and make amendments if necessary. Finally, click on "Checkout" to complete your purchase, where you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Alternatively, you may order by post, e-mail, fax or phone. Enter our on-line shop, browse our catalogue and gather all the information about the item(s) you wish to purchase then click the 'Order Form' button below to download and print an order form (this may take a little time) for completion.
We accept Visa, Switch, Solo, Delta, American Express and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet using our secure facility. We do not advise the use of e-mail to transmit orders since this is not a secure invironment in which to do so. Cheques/postal orders, made payable to Tapestries Direct, may be used for payment of orders placed by post within the UK.
If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, a currency converter is provided in a link at the top of the page. Please note that the exchange rate imposed by your credit card provider will be that deemed to be current at the time of sale, which will be just prior to despatch.
DESPATCH TO UK MAINLAND ADDRESSES - FREE DELIVERY
DESPATCH TO OFF-SHORE UK ADDRESSES AND NON-UK ADDRESSES will incur a postage and packaging fee. When ordering on-line, the fee will be calculated according to the weight and destination, and will be added to your order at the checkout before you submit your credit card details. There is opportunity at this stage to proceed or abort the transaction.
OFF-SHORE UK CUSTOMERS AND OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS ORDERING OFF-LINE: Please contact us for shipping rates prior to placing your order.
Depending on the value and size of order, UK deliveries are shipped by either courier or Royal Mail and International deliveries are handled by FedeEx or UK Royal Mail and then the relevant Overseas Postal Authority. All deliveries require a signature upon delivery.
Some countries prohibit the import of certain goods; it is your responsibility to check with the appropriate authorities to ensure the goods ordered are not prohibited.
You will receive an automated e-mail response to confirm that your order has been accepted.
Orders received over the internet, by phone, post, e-mail or fax will be dealt with promptly. Items which are in stock are usually shipped within 3 days and delivered within a week to UK addresses. However, because of the range of products, some items are manufactured to order and are shipped within 28 days. Please allow up to 5 additional days for export orders. OVERSEAS DELIVERIES: delivery schedule subject to Customs clearance.
If you have a specific deadline to meet which does not fall within the time-scales above, please contact us and we will do our best to fulfil your requirements.
Shipment is subject to credit card authorisation/cheque clearance. In the event that authorisation is refused, we will contact you to supply another card or for you to arrange clearance. Our terms do not affect your statutory rights.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
All prices in this catalogue include V.A.T. at 17.5%. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom and European Union are VAT free and the prices will be adjusted during the order process.
Some countries may charge an import tax which will be the responsibility of the addressee.
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
We guarantee your satisfaction. If you're not entirely satisfied with any item, simply return it to us undamaged, in the original packaging within 14 days for exchange, refund or credit.
You may cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 days of delivery.

14-day guarantee At Tapestries Direct we want you to be totally satisfied with your purchases - every time. Occasionally though, we appreciate that you may want to return items, so our Returns Policy is given below.
Our QUIBBLE-FREE RETURNS GUARANTEE means that if you are unhappy, for any reason, with your purchase you can return it to us in its original condition and packaging within 14 days and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
Faulty items You can always return items if they are faulty. Please see ‘Return instructions’ below for details of how to return faulty items.
Delivery charges When returning an item because of an error by us or because it is faulty, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in despatching the goods to you and your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges.
Return instructions Ensure the item is in its original condition and packaging. Complete the Exchanges/Return Form, which will either accompany your delivery or be sent under separate cover, remembering to state the appropriate return code.
